About Meryl Oliver

I am a professional electrologist certified by the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology (BBC). I completed my training at Monterey Bay Institute of Electrology in 2019.

My office is a comfortable and relaxing space that is handicapped accessible. I strictly adhere to all safety and sterilization protocols outlined by the Board of Barbering and Cosmetology (BBC).

I work with you to provide effective and consistent treatments to achieve your permanent hair removal goals in the shortest amount of time possible.

My purpose is to help people feel more comfortable with themselves. As someone who struggled with excess hair, I know how debilitating it can make you feel. To paraphrase an old commercial, “I’m not just the electrologist, I’m also a client!” The results of electrolysis can make a huge difference in self-confidence and acceptance.

I am originally from New York, but I've lived in the Los Gatos/San Jose area for more than 20 years. I have a teenage daughter who lives with me half of the time. I am an extrovert who loves to talk (probably more than I should) and make people laugh. I look forward to getting to know you!

I am inclusive and welcome all clients.

I chose the butterfly as my business name because it symbolizes transformation and gentleness. Butterflies are also a favorite of my mother, without whom I could never have started my business. Love you, Mom!
